2018 FGS Annual Meeting September 14-16, 2018 at Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress in Orlando, Florida

A Program Designed For Everyone

Our current FGS President, Ben Pineau, M.D., has spent the last 12 months developing this year’s program. His focus was to create a program that appealed to both those in private practice and academia. Hear from World-renowned speakers, such as Michael Wallace, M.D., Robert Hawes, M.D., Roberto Firpi, M.D., and Brian Lacy, M.D.! Head over to our course faculty page for a full listing.

Hands-On Endoscopy Labs: A One-of-a-Kind Opportunity

Another highlight of this year’s FGS Annual Meeting will be its Hands-On Endoscopy Lab. Your conference registration includes access to this course. We encourage you take advantage of it. If you’ve ever heard about a device or procedure but have not had an opportunity to practice, now is your chance. Jose Nieto, M.D. and Dennis Yang, M.D., have constructed a one-of-a-kind hands-on experience. Watch and work with world-class instructors to perform the latest procedures in Gastroenterology. Gain hands-on experience with the latest equipment industry has to offer.

Support The Next Generation of Gastroenterologists

Fellows from Florida’s most prestigious training programs will compete in a Jeopardy-style competition. This event is fun not only for the contestants but for the audience as well.

We will also have a Fellow’s Poster Competition held within the Exhibition Hall. The top three poster presenters will receive cash prizes for their research potential.
These two events make the 2018 FGS Annual Meeting the perfect place for institutions and Fellows alike, to display their training and knowledge in the field of Gastroenterology.

Not a Member? We’ve Got An Offer For You

This year, we are offering non-FGS members discounted registration. With registration, they will also receive one year of free membership to the FGS.

You may have put off joining the FGS for any number of reasons but now is your chance to join risk-free. If you would rather pay more to remain a non-member, we can’t stop you, but we are very interested in your feedback. Please let us know what we can do better to create value for you. Send your feedback to the FGS Executive Director Justin Bouck at justin.bouck@flgastro.org

As the old adage goes:”there is strength in numbers.” Our voice for Florida’s GI community grows stronger with each new member.

Don’t Forget To Have Fun

Kick the weekend off right with a Welcome Reception held Friday night in the Exhibition Hall. “Break bread” with industry partners, faculty and Florida’s most influential thought leaders. Can’t make it Friday night? No problem! A buffet-style lunch following Saturday’s general session is also included in your registration.
